Checks official sources
Legislation is verified against the Knesset's National Legislation Database: does the law exist? Is it still in force?
A clear, graded report
Green - verified. Red - suspected fabrication. Amber - possibly repealed. Gray - needs manual review. No guessing: nothing is marked green without an official source.
Your own case-law library
Point it at the judgment folders you have collected over the years - it finds a local copy of every cited case, opened with one click.
Verify case law in your database
Next to every judgment, a button opens it straight in your chosen database (Nevo, Takdin, Psakdin, Padaor, Din BeRega, LawMate) and copies the case number - manual verification in seconds. You can also connect your subscription credentials, stored encrypted on your machine only.
Reads scanned documents too
A scanned PDF (a photo, with no text layer) is read with local Hebrew OCR on your own machine, without sending anything out. Scanned pages are flagged in the report for verification.

Your documents never leave your office
BODEKET was built for lawyers handling sensitive material: no server, no cloud, no retention. The document is processed in memory and deleted when the audit ends. The only thing that ever leaves your machine is law names sent to the Knesset database - nothing else.
Frequently asked questions
Does it verify case law too?
Judgments are not yet auto-verified against an official database (Israeli case-law databases offer no open programmatic access). The software honestly marks them "needs manual review", searches your own local judgment library for a copy, and gives you one-click buttons that open the case in your subscription database - so manual verification takes seconds.
Can it read a scanned (image) document?
Yes. A scanned PDF (image, no text layer) is read with local Hebrew OCR on your own machine, without sending anything out. Pages read via OCR are flagged in the report, since automatic recognition is not perfect and is worth verifying.
What happens after the 10 days?
Auditing new documents pauses until a license code is entered. Nothing is deleted and no data is lost. License activation is fully offline.
Do I need technical skills to install it?
No. Download, double-click, Next-Next-Finish - and the app opens in your browser by itself. No mandatory configuration.
Does the software use artificial intelligence?
No. The current version uses no AI at all, and needs no key or external account. Citation extraction runs locally on your machine and no document content ever leaves it. You can connect your own legal database (Nevo, Takdin and more) with your subscription credentials, stored encrypted on your machine only.
